RCSI to launch $500m Bahrain project PDF Print E-mail
ThePost.ie - 29 April 2007 - By Susan Mitchell - The Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (RCSI) has received the go-ahead for a $500million healthcare project in Bahrain. It will be the biggest international healthcare project ever undertaken by an Irish-based group. The 100-acre site will include a private hospital, specialist clinics, step-down facilities, residential accommodation and shops. The plan is being finalised by a group headed by entrepreneur Gilbert Little, who is a member of the international development board of the RCSI.

Michael Horgan, the RCSI’s chief executive, said the venture was a new departure for the college.
